The apartments are in a great location and that is definitely what you pay for here. The ladies in the office are very friendly, attentive, and always want to make sure things are great for each tenant. I love having the dog park behind my building and my neighbors are always quiet and respectful of each other. These are older units so you have to keep that in mind. I had several maintenance issues happen shortly after I moved in during mid September but they were issues that happen in older units and they were not the fault of the leasing office. The manager and the ladies in the office were great at resolving them and getting them all fixed in a timely manner. The manager even went above and beyond my expectations when addressing something that was out of their control. My only issue with the complex is there is room for improvement when it comes to communication between the leasing office, maintenance, and their tenants. There have been several times when maintenance had to come over multiple times to address an issue that could have been completed during their first visit to the unit. I’m not sure were the breakdown is occurring but it’s frustrating for me and inefficient for the maintenance staff. Also, recently I have not been happy with the solution to fix the water that leaks into my window tracks when it rains. Instead of addressing and fixing the problem (the leak) it was decided to drill three holes in the frame of the window for drainage to the outside. It is already difficult to insulate an older unit from the outside elements but now I have these holes that will make this more difficult and could potentially allow bugs to get in as well. I am not sure if this is a temporary fix and they plan to replace the windows, this would go back to the communication issue, but I feel this is the solution since it’s the third time maintenance has looked at it. I will update my review if there is a change to the solution on the water leak with the windows.
